I learned a lot of things from my mom. I think the most significant and lasting gift mom gave the world was how kind she treated others. It would have been my mom’s 90th birthday today. Happy Birthday in Heaven mom. We four girls are still celebrating your birthday, and springtime, and Easter with the Reese’s Eggs you always gave to us.
Today I am kicking off an eight day series called “Treat Them With Kindness” and I will showcase so many ways to wrap up little gifts for others with just a few simple touches. From Easter to Birthday to Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Graduation, Weddings and beyond – I love how Stampin’ Up! offers beautiful products designed to delight and surprise and make people feel appreciated. I haven’t always been one to slow down and do special wrapping but after having been slowed down by the pandemic I really am taking time to delight in so many simple things.
Today we start simply with the Gusseted Bag, and it truly couldn’t be easier.
Fill the bag with candy and goodies. Tie the end in a bow with a Magenta Madness or Daffodil Delight Ribbon.
Cut a 2″ x 8″ strip of Basic White Thick Card Stock. Punch one end with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch.
Decorate with Daffodil Delight, Magenta Madness, and Gorgeous Grape stamped images. Trim and punch the other edge.
Add some bows and bling to the tag. Add tag to the bag with Dimensionals.
Then treat your recipient to some kindness… just like mom did!
