Sketch 8 from 24-25 Annual Catalog (hello)

I love following along with sketches, so much so that I’ve decided to create a gallery using the sketches found on page 22 of the Stampin’ Up! 2024-2025 Annual Catalog. You can follow along with me while I use two sketches every month for inspiration.

Today we are focusing on Sketch 8.

Basic White (but the new White Willow would work better)

MEASUREMENTS

The measurements, and even the placement of elements on the card, are just a starting point. If you have images that are smaller – use what you have! If you want to move the sentiment to another location or change the size of the banner label, feel free.

• Cut Card Base 8 ½” x 5 ½”, score at 4 ¼”
• Cut Basic White Layer 1: 3 ¾” x 5” to glue the smaller pieces to
• Cut card front into nine squares
  • Outside rows are 1 ¼” x 1 11/16″.
  • Inside row is 1 7/16″ x 1 11/16″
• Sentiment Banner from kit
• Calypso Coral Banner from kit

Instructions

1. Cut Card Base 8 ½” x 5 ½”, score at 4 ¼”
2.  Cut Basic White Layer 1: 3 ¾” x 5” to glue the smaller pieces to
3. Cut card front into nine squares
   • Pieces: Outside rows are 1 ¼” x 1 11/16″. Inside row is 1 7/16″ x 1 11/16″
4. Adhere nine pieces to Layer 1. Adhere Layer 1 to card front.
5. Adhere Calypso Coral Banner (from kit) to card front
6. Wrap ribbon or twine behind the Sentiment Banner (from kit)
7. Adhere Sentiment to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
8. Sprinkle on the gems.
