Sketch 10 from 24-25 Annual Catalog (Splendid Autumn Fun-Fold)

I love following along with sketches, so much so that I’ve decided to create a gallery using the sketches found on page 22 of the Stampin’ Up! 2024-2025 Annual Catalog. You can follow along with me while I use two sketches every month for inspiration.
Today we are focusing on Sketch 10.
In addition to posting here on my blog, I also host a Facebook Live event where you can stamp along with me. Contact me to get on my reminder list for every second Wednesday. And you can access the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog Sketch Series here.

MEASUREMENTS
The measurements, and even the placement of elements on the card, are just a starting point. If you have images that are smaller – use what you have! If you want to move the sentiment to another location or change the size of the banner label, feel free.
- Card base – Fresh Freesia 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 2 1/8” and 4 ¼”
- Basic White – 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Basic White – 1 7/8″ x 5 1/4″
- Mossy Meadow – 2″ x 4″
- Gorgeous Grape – 3″ x 3″
- Splendid Autumn Designer Series Paper – piece with the purple flowers 2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″
Instructions
- Fold and burnish card base at the 4 ¼” score line using bone folder. Then fold the card front back on itself using the other scored line. This forms Z fold.
- Take the White strip and emboss using the Exposed Brick embossing folder. Use Tear & Tape to attach to the front card panel.
- Banner cut each end of the Mossy Meadow strip using a narrow ½” cut in the middle.
- Attach the Splendid Autumn dsp to the Gorgeous Grape square.
- Add a piece of Tear & Tape to the Mossy Meadow strip in the middle. Use Linen Thread to wind the thread back and forth making sure the thread end and loops are even with the points of the banner.
- Use dimensionals to add to the center of the dsp panel going side to side. Note – you need to make sure the dimensionals do not go past the top of the Mossy Meadow strip.
- Add Tear & Tape to the back of the left side of the element from Step 6. Note – the Tear & Tape cannot go past the folded card front or it will glue your card shut. I flipped the element over making sure front left side was on the left side when flipped and placed it on the card front. I then used the fold of the card front panel to know how far to place my Tear & Tape.
- Remove the Tear & Tape backing and attach to the card front.
