Today’s Blog Hop will focus on 3 new projects. I am honored and excited to be partnering with two amazing friends and artists – Tina Newberry and Robbie Rubala. We hope you enjoy the projects, and that your holiday season is filled with hand-made love.
Pop-Up Bag Card
Measurements and Colors
Garden Green Band
- (2) 1 ¾” x 11” pieces of Garden Green Cardstock. Attach together and cut to 1 ¾” x 13 ¼”. Score at 3 ¾” x 9 ⅝”
4” x 9 ½” Designer Series Paper (for bag)
- On the 9 ½” side at ½”, 1”, 4 ½”, 5”, 5 ½”, 9”
- On the 4” side at ½”, 3”
Basic White 2 ½” x 3”
- Basic White
- Real Red
- Garden Green
Let’s Create
- Cut Basic White Thick Cardstock 5 ½” x 8 ½”, score at 4 ¼”
- Assemble Garden Green Band
- Cut (2) 1 ¾” x 11” pieces of Garden Green Cardstock. Attach together and cut to 1 ¾” x 13 ¼”. Score at 3 ¾” x 9 ⅝”. Adhere ends together to create a band.
- Cut 4” x 9 ½” Designer Series Paper (for bag)
- Score on the 9 ½” side at ½”, 1”, 4 ½”, 5”, 5 ½”, 9”
- Score on the 4” side at ½”, 3”
- Burnish all score lines
- Cut out sections as shown in video.
- To create handles – use a hole punch to punch two holes. Thread ribbon or twine through the holes, and adhere with scotch tape on the inside. Wrap the top layer over and adhere to hide ribbon ends.
- Assemble bag, leaving the bottom tabs open.
- Cut Basic White 2 ½” x 3”
