There are so many fun ways to work with stencils. Here are just a few, from simple to shimmery.

Blending Brush and Ink Pad
Blending Brush, Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo, Ridiculously Awesome, Memento Black, and Pampered Pets Twine on 3×3 card with envelope
Use a Blending Brush for best effect, but you can also use a dauber or sponge. Gives a nice textured background.
Craft White Ink Pad, Embossing Powder and Heat Gun
Spritzer, rubbing alcohol, and reinker
This technique is super fun, super colorful, and can be super messy if you are not careful. I spritz mine about 6 inches away, making sure the nozzle if facing downward, and the card stock is in a box with walls.
Frost White Shimmer Paint
Great for clouds, snow, or anywhere you want to add some texture and shine.
Embossing Paste or Shimmered Embossing Paste
Gives more texture as either a background element or a focal point.
